Who We Are

About West 117 Foundation

The primary objective of the West 117 Foundation is to act as a thought leader within the Cleveland LGBTQ+ community by fostering discussion and addressing the unmet needs that face the community. We begin by funding grants to support arts, culture, health and wellness, support services, and other programs. Our two initial programs are the Fieldhouse Art Mural Program and the LGBTQ+ Youth Sports League. Both programs represent the unique endeavors of the local Greater Cleveland LGBTQ+ community as well as national efforts. In addition, the West 117 Foundation also provides grants through unrestricted resources with the goal of supporting people and programs within the LGBTQ+ community. Through the advancement of the community, promotion of health and wellness, and active compassionate discussion — we believe that Cleveland can continue to thrive as a supportive inclusive community.
